Saint Patrick

Patrick was captured by pirates when he was sixteen and taken from Britain to Ireland as a slave. He took care of sheep for six years. He prayed a lot and learned to love God. One night he had a dream that told him to escape — so he walked 200 miles and found a ship home! Later, he became a priest. And then he did something amazing — he went BACK to Ireland on purpose, to tell the people who had enslaved him about Jesus. He used a little green shamrock to teach them about the Trinity: three leaves, but one plant — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, but one God!
