The Crucifixion

Jesus was condemned to death, scourged, crowned with thorns, and forced to carry His Cross to Golgotha — the place of the Skull. There He was nailed to the Cross between two thieves. From the Cross He forgave His killers, gave Mary to the beloved disciple as Mother, and finally said, 'It is finished,' and died. The sky grew dark. The earth shook. He had paid the price of our sins.
