The Visitation

Mary visits her cousin Elizabeth, who also carries a miracle child.
The Story
Right after the angel left, Mary traveled to see her cousin Elizabeth, who was also expecting a baby in her old age. When Elizabeth heard Mary's voice, her baby — John the Baptist — leaped with joy inside her. Elizabeth cried out, 'Blessed are you among women!' Mary answered with the beautiful prayer we call the Magnificat: 'My soul magnifies the Lord.'
The Lesson
When we serve others in love, we bring Christ to them. And praising God fills our hearts with joy.
