The Annunciation

In a little town called Nazareth lived a young woman named Mary. One day the angel Gabriel appeared to her and said, 'Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you!' He told Mary she would become the mother of God's Son, Jesus. Mary was amazed, but she trusted. She answered, 'Behold the handmaid of the Lord. Be it done to me according to your word.' In that moment, Jesus began to grow inside her.
