The Prodigal Son
Luke 15:11–32
A father's forgiveness for a son who ran away and came home.
The Story
A rich man had two sons. The younger one demanded his inheritance and left home. He wasted everything on wild living, ended up starving, feeding pigs to survive. He came to his senses and went home, determined to beg to be a servant. But while he was still far off, his father saw him — ran to him — and threw a feast, saying, 'This son of mine was lost, and is found!'
The Lesson
No matter how far we run from God, He is always waiting. When we come home, He runs to meet us with joy.
