The Passover

Pharaoh refused to let God's people go, so God sent ten plagues. The last was the most terrible — the death of every firstborn in Egypt. But God gave His people a way to be saved: they were to kill a perfect lamb, spread its blood on the doorposts, and eat it roasted. That night, the angel of death passed over every house marked with blood. In the morning, Pharaoh let God's people go free.
