Saint Thérèse of Lisieux

Thérèse was a little French girl who loved Jesus with all her heart. She had four older sisters who became nuns. When she was only fifteen, Thérèse asked the Pope himself if she could become a nun too — and he said yes! She spent her short life doing very small things with very great love. She said, 'I will let fall from heaven a shower of roses.' She died when she was only twenty-four, but her love is still helping people all over the world today. Her symbol is a rose.
