God Makes the World

Before anything existed, there was God. On the first day, God said, 'Let there be light!' — and there was light. Over six days He made the sky and the sea, the sun and the stars, the trees and the animals — and last of all, a man and a woman made in His own image. On the seventh day, God rested, and He looked at everything and said, 'It is very good.'
