God Calls Abraham

God spoke to a man named Abram and said, 'Leave your country and go to a land I will show you. I will make you the father of a great nation, and through you all the world will be blessed.' Abram did not ask where. He simply obeyed. God changed his name to Abraham ('father of many') and promised him a son in his old age. Years later, God kept His promise, and Isaac was born.
